Q. What can I get from MCAC?

A. If you qualify:

  • You may be able to see a primary care doctor at no cost.

  • Filling a generic prescription costs only $4.00!


Q. Is MCAC a free insurance program?

A. MCAC is not an insurance program. MCAC is an access coalition. In other words, MCAC will link eligible persons with no access to medical care to donated volunteer services.


Eligibility Guidelines

  • People with no health insurance.

  • Must be a resident of Dickinson or Iron County.

  • Ages 19 to 64.

  • People with a total household income at or below 200% of the federal poverty level.

    • $20,420 for a single person

    • $27,380 for a family of two

    • $41,300 for a family of four


Those not eligible include:

  • People who have any type of medical coverage

  • People suffering from work related injuries involving Workers Compensation
